As a current student, we hope that you are enjoying your studies in the School of Physical Sciences. Remember if you do have any issues we are readily available to help you in all matters.

On this page we try to give you easy access to a huge array of information. Get involved in your School aims to provide you with easy access to range of clubs and societies, fun opportunities to volunteer at School events,  and generally let you know what is happening in the School and how you can get involved. Check regularly as things will be added throughout the year.

You will find access to the relevant handbook for your studies. These handbooks give you lots of information about being a student in the School of Physical Sciences and you should be able to find lots of answers to your questions in these publications but remember, if you are still unsure, contact your academic advisor or your department and School Office. We are all here to help!

mySI-net and myAdvisor contain a wealth of information for students from obtaining a student card; enrolling; students rights and responsibilities; and much, much more. You can access both these pages from the links on the right.

If you would like to see something that does not appear on these pages send an email to Nelle Ross at n.ross@sps.uq.edu.au.

Students need to approach the Faculty office (EPSA) for enquiries in relation to

  • Award of credit for previous study
  • Withdrawl without academic penalty (where permission is required)
  • Variation to program requirements
  • Appeals against exclusion
  • Graduation matters.

If you have an enquiry about any other matter not listed, initially talk to your academic adviser or speak with the staff in the School's Student Admin office.
